The Burmese Python is one of the five largest snakes in the world. The largest captive Burmese Python in the world was recorded at eighteen feet and ten inches though in the wild, they rarely grow larger than twelve feet in length. Goliath is eleven feet six inches long and weighs twenty kilograms! Native to Southeast Asia, they inhabit a wide range of habitats, and are good climbers and swimmers. Pythons are not venomous, but instead constrict their prey to death before it is then swallowed whole.
